I recently stayed at a wonderful hostel near the ocean and had a fantastic experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with clean sheets that smelled fresh. The common area was also spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of chairs, tables, and sockets to charge devices. I appreciated the beautiful pictures of Icelandic nature that adorned the walls, giving the place a nice vibe. The bathrooms were the best I've ever seen in a hostel, with each toilet and shower in a separate room with a normal door. this hostel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Although my bed creaked a bit, it was a minor issue that didn't bother me much. Additionally, the hostel is located off the ring road away from Selfoss, so it's important to come prepared.

We had an amazing stay at a lovely hostel in a peaceful area. The rooms were spotless and the towels and beddings provided were a nice touch. We were able to lock our belongings in the lockers under the beds for added security. The showers were also pristine and well-maintained. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area were perfect for cooking and relaxing. Plus, the smart TV with Netflix was a great bonus for unwinding after a long day. Although public transport is limited, having our own car allowed us to explore the surrounding area easily. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay near Eyrarbakki.
